Accreditation Committee Decisions Appeal Lawyers.
If you have applied to a Professional College and your application has been refused, or the College has imposed terms, conditions and limitations on your Certificate of Accreditation, you have the right to appeal the decision of the College to the Health Professions Appeal and Review Board (“the HPARB”).
You have right to receive all of the information which the College relied upon when they made their decision. That information will be provided to the HPARB, along with any new information which you provide. The HPARB will decide whether the College considered all of the relevant information when they made their decision and whether, in considering all of the relevant information, that decision was reasonable.
The HPARB has the power to uphold the decision of the panel, order the College to issue a certificate of registration after you complete exams or training, order the College to issue a certificate of registration with terms and conditions, or refer the matter back to the Registration Committee.
An appeal to the HPARB can ensure that you become accredited with your Professional College. Damien Frost & Associates LLP represents clients appealing a decision of the Registration Committee to the HPARB. Contact Damien Frost & Associates LLP today for a free consultation.
