If a complaint has been made, you will receive a notice of complaint and you will be asked to provide a response in writing. Your response along with a copy of the complaint will then be provided to the Inquiries, Complaints and Reports Committee (“the ICRC”) of the College to determine whether your matter should be referred to the Discipline Committee for a hearing. Given the importance of your response, you should have a lawyer assist you by responding on your behalf to the ICRC. This will ensure that your rights are protected and that anything submitted to the College cannot be used against you in the future.

- require you to pay a fine of up to $35,000; and
- require you to pay the costs and expenses of the investigation and the legal costs and expenses of the hearing
